A directory is only worth what its worst listing is worth. Here is exactly what happens before a camp shows up on this site — and what each label means.
How a listing earns its place
Stale listings kill trust faster than missing ones. Nothing here is scraped and forgotten — each event moves through five steps, and published events get re-checked on a cycle.
- 01The organization goes in the operator record first — team, program, club or private operator.
- 02Each dated camp is entered as a draft with its source page attached.
- 03Dates, price and age bands are confirmed on the operator's own site or by email.
- 04Only confirmed events publish, with the name of who verified them.
- 05Published events are re-checked on a cycle and stamped with the last check date.
What the labels mean
Real spots are on the line. Staff who pick the team are watching.
No spots offered, but named coaches attend and evaluations are written.
Training first. Good coaching, no recruiting outcome promised.
Anyone can register. Fun, fine, low evaluation value — we say so.
What each status means
Entered from a public source, not yet confirmed. Visible but flagged — we'd rather show you the pipeline than pretend it's complete.
Something changed or the source is thin. It stays up, marked, until a human re-checks it.
Dates, price and age bands confirmed on the operator's own site or by email, with the name of who checked.
Verified and live, and on a re-check cycle with a visible last-checked date.
The promise
Paid placement moves an operator up a results list. It never changes a camp's classification or its candour note. If we ever get that wrong, report it and we'll fix it in public.
